Projects
Here’s just a small glimpse into the stories, art, and advocacy shaping the identity of Alberta’s health systems and health services—past, present, and future.
Blog
In our blog, we aim to showcase some of the historical figures, current events, and contemporary challenges that have affected the ways in which people access health care and are able to live healthy lives. We offer a glimpse into the stories that are shaping the quality of life of the people in the country we call home.
Art Gallery
We showcase Indigenous artwork in our gallery to honour its role in healing. Each artist we feature embodies resilience, spiritual strength, and cultural reclamation as they offer pieces that represent the reclamation of Indigenous identity and culture, as well as the connection between themselves, the land, and their community. We aim to celebrate Indigenous art, especially beadwork, as a powerful tool for restoring identity, building community, and renewing emotional and spiritual connectedness with the land.
Advocacy
We hope to inspire our viewers to take action against the forces that create health inequity and cyclic injustice. Through participation and activism in civil society, we believe that everyone has the power to take opportunities to help improve health outcomes.
