“Raven Trust is a grassroots organization that advocates for Indigenous rights, sovereignty, and environmental justice. Raven Trust particularly focuses on environmental justice by bringing such issues to court. For me, civil society gives people the voice to be heard, especially in a society where power is in the hands of the few. Activism promotes solidarity and creates a sense of inclusivity. It also fosters a sense of togetherness, which is something that we badly need for we can only bring about change through unity and collective action!”
